I am such a lucky lucky photographer. Megan and Sam had a glorious, sun filled, wonderful wedding on the island of Bermuda. The day started soft and balmy, with a hint of sun, the azure waters gleaming. Megan was a absolutely breath taking bride, walking the long, long runway to the ceremonial site. Sam waited with a look of longing, nervousness and joy all at once written on his face. As the ceremony progressed a golden wash of light flooded the bride and groom. Many said it was Sam’s recently deceased Dad. I believe that.!!
We processed to the beach, just before dark, to have a few minutes of portrait creation.I honestly think less is more when it comes to taking these “formals” I always want to have my couple make it to cocktails with plenty of time to spare.and indeed, Sam and Megan, wedding attendants and family all did. Cocktails were absolutely yummy.
The band was local and played a good selection of popular songs…even a hora, coming from a Bermudian band, which was pretty cool
thank you to Brian Reid, my second shooter!
