Elopements are intimate, amazing, moments to photograph.Without the audience, the family, the guests, the vibe is completely different. But surprisingly also the same. The same anxious groom, the same bride who is hoping everything will go off without a hitch.
Jade and Andrew arrived from Austrailia after a very long two day trip, covering two continents, with several long layovers. They set out to city hall almost the minute they arrived to secure the marriage license, then took an extraordinary 7 hour tour of NYC. These two have some kind of crazy stamina.Whew. I break out in a sweat just thinking of it.
Day of wedding,I finally got to meet the couple after numerous emails. Jade is funny, sweet, smart, a bit quirky( my favorite kind of person)
Opposites do attract as Andrew is reserved, a bit more conservative, but a very kind man, who indulges his bride with gorgeous gifts from Tiffany's and lot's of loving support.
Reverand Jeddah officiated in her lovely , spirited, and fully connected way ( the ceremony way gorgeous)and it was held in the Shakespere Garden at Central Park. This was on the most glorious day we have seen in a year.Perfect, sunny, crisp.the colors were vibrant. The air clear as can be. JUST PERFECT
We carried on the Brooklyn's Dumbo for waterfront, skyline photos, a Merry go round ride, and a hoisted drink
Cheers to you both, Jade and Andrew. May the rest of your lives be as beautiful as your wedding day
