Mariel and Dan married at Glen Island Harbour Club

On a warm and sunny June day, Dan was preparing for his wedding , waiting to hear Mariel had arrived at Glen Island for the beginning of the celebrations. This was only to find out the draw bridge allowing access to the island was stuck up in the air and Mariel was stuck on the wrong side.

We were all trying to find a way to bring her over, her father had paid for a fishing boat to get her, when it finally was raised and the party would begin. Mariel was the coolest , calmest bride I have ever met. She was unshaken…she never even broke a sweat. I knew then this was to be a wonderful, wild , Jewish wedding celebration and it did not disappoint.
