LIZ AND JACOB

Winter at the Garrison

Two young Doctors were to meet by chance, both attending a wedding of a mutual friend. These two were absolutely predestined to be together, and on a blustery, early cold spell, in mid November, they did just that.

The Garrison provided a glorious backdrop for two beautiful humans to join together, along with family and friends. From the Jewish traditions of signing the Katuba( the marriage license) to the Greek crowning ceremony, it was all full of love and joy.

I have not seen two families become such good friends as these are.

The day may have been very cold but it did not deter Liz, who was determined to have gorgeous portraits with the stunning view provided by the Garrison. She bravely stayed outside in 25 degree weather for many minutes, even as her fingers ( and mine) were turning blue.We returned to the scene just before sunset and this was my absolute favorite time of the entire day. They danced on the edge of the great expanse and my heart was so full .

Smores were provided by the bonfire outside and many revelers actually sat out there mesmerized by both the fire and the incredibly starry night- I was so inspired we just had to do a night shot.
