I have been involved in the process of photography all of my life.
I started out working as a photojournalist for local newspapers in New Jersey and Philadelphia
then moved to New York City to persue a commercial career. I was assistant to many of the city's best
advertising, fashion and editorial photographers.
After sharing a studio in NYC with my husband, I decided to pursue portrait and dance photography.
I became a master at the time honored technique of hand painting black and white photographs
Soon my clients started to approach me about photographing their weddings.I agreed, with the stipulation
that I could shoot weddings my way, spontaneously, with humor and compassion, without being contrived and artifical.
A trend was started and I am, today, privileged to have been an important part of so many weddings and important family occasions.
My studio is full service, producing everything from classic black and white portraits, hand painted or not, to gorgeous wedding
albums , archival giclee prints ,framed images and more.
